Isomo Loruko. [African Naming Ceremony]
Traditional African names allow Africans born in America, void of their ancestral culture, to possess a traditional name. Each name in the Yoruba dialect has a specific meaning that directly coorelates to its owner's destiny.

An Isomo Loruko involves a river cleaning, divination, and new name and identity. This service is available for all ages. Should the client request an on location Isomo Loruko, an additional traveling expense would be added to the below listed rate.

Ijo Egungun Ceremony
_ Egungun are the collective representations of deceased family members who return to the world in the form of a masquerade; an ancient Yoruba form of ancestor veneration. The priests at Oyotunji African Village utilize this ancient tradition to bridge the gap of African descendants by reconnecting them with their personal Egun or ancestors of specofic to their familial lineage.

This ceremony can be held in either Oyotunji African Village or on location requested by client. Ijo Egungun Ceremonies are family occasions and the client should be prepared to entertain their family and guests, both living and deceased. Families are encouraged to view the ancestral masquerade dance as a family reunion of sorts. If on location, an additional traveling expense would be added to the below listed rate.
