(Dafa Odun tuntun)

 Dafa Odun 2012 Overview World
Ose logbe (ogbe): is the olori odu forecasting general distress brought about by petty worries making it difficult to remain calm and agreeable. There is a call for the heads of the world to use more diplomacy, charm, grace and tactfulness. The inability to achieve harmony and creative thinking may result in violent confrontations  among world powers, ego clashes. More attention is called to women and the rights of women in the world community. The world can overcome its distress and many challenges by maintaining traditional discipline and ideals. Positive revolutionary action is also part of this year's world story with a firm warning of addressing the concerns of world movements and masses.

 United States of America
Oturapon Alaje (Ose): calls for upholding the highest ideals and standards. Facing uncertainty, imbalance and disarray, the US as a nation must stand and work together. Family issues, the voices and rights of women are callling for attention. Expect the spirit of work and physical energy to increase.... a good year for a busy, productive work. Many will be pleased as the President weaves many threads together for good during this re-election bid. Negative campaigns attempting to dethrone the President will not succeed.

Africa:
Otura Ori Ire (Ogbe): of africa's image are in the forecast for Africa this year. Cultural ideas and skills may be in the decline. Mass demonstrations and movements may be very violent in nature with more injury and violence to children. Through the help of the outside and inside Africa may see alot of rebuilding and expansion.

African Americans
Otura Sooto (Osa) : says the force of change moves through the voices of our ancestors in 2012. African descendents are advised to increase veneration, elevation, offerings that honor and pay homage to those that have paved the way for all our good blessings of children and families in the African American community. We are also advised against speaking ill/bad of African Americans in position of leadership. As a matter of pride and unity through Olokun, the mother/father of the African race, our families and communities will do more to help each other. As many look to their spirituality to avoid losses, entanglements and hard times many will be in rememberance of ancestral codes of conduct as effective tools for moving the stumbling blocks off the path of destiny. Not a year to waste time or proscrastinate, not a year for dishonesty or violence. The flip side of maintaining a strong discipline and organization is an energy gone wild...playing out in courts, law and more violence.

Yorubas in England
Ogbe Alaje (Ose): ruling says this Egbe/society of Yoruba in the UK may have difficulty maintaining the culture this year. They may experience shame, embarrassment, loss of creative power and energy. Strong worship of Ifa is advised to avoid misfortune. Great energy is to be given to the construction of rules, laws and system. Give great respect to the ancient ancestors to avoid bitterness, frustration and confusion.
