Mutabaruka featured at 2013 Oba's Legacy Reception.

Mutabaruka is a world renown activist in EVERY since of the word. By using an eclectic mix of creative word play and a critical analysis of the injustices towards humanity, Muta is by far one of the most on-point and impactful poets of our time. The day I met Muta for the first time in the studio at Irie FM, my intent was expressed to the multiverse, that one day I would have the opportunity to expose other Yoruba and African descendents in North America to the great teaching of our dear Brother Muta against the Oyotunji Village backdrop.

This intention has taken over a decade to materialize in our real-time reality; don’t miss this opportunity.

In respect of the great poet, Mutabaruka
