Inside the Cultural Scene

Many Yoruba descendants from across the Diaspora came together during the Alasuwada Ifa and Orisa International Conference Santa Cruz, Trinidad and Tobago during the July 6th-9th weekend. 

The King of the Yoruba of N. America Oba Adefunmi II was in attendance and served as the event's Key Note Speaker, addressing the mantra; Culture is the Chief Magistrate  of One's Destiny. 

All attendees vowed to continue the unity in the Orisa community after returning home to their respective temples and shrines.
