In the year 1970 His Royal Highness Oba Oseijiman Adefunmi I made the
first call…HRH aroused our ancestors, awakened us to Orisa, unveiled our common
Egungun, connected us to our primordial system of Ifa worship and induced us to
what it means to be AFRICAN!
42 years later His Royal Majesty Oba Adegbolu Adefunmi II is issuing a
second call; for UNITY…
The ancestors have returned! Now is the time to sacrifice for the elevation
of our youth, rebuild the collective movement and create a venue in which we
foster progressive movement for the aspiration and further development of our
people... Welcome the inaugural Pan-African Grassroots Assembly.
The Pan-African Grassroots Assembly will provide attendees an opportunity of a lifetime! This is for Pan-Africanists, African centered thinkers, artists, community healers, Egungun venerators, Orisa worshipers and sacred activists who want to experience a little bit of Africa without leaving America. Meet and organize with like-minded emerging leadership of tomorrow at the intersection of culture and sustainability.
